WHAT IF YOU FAIL?

If you make good plans and set appropriate goals and have worked hard and did everything right and you still come up short.... What happened?

Life. It doesn't seem like it ought to be so complicated, but it is. There is no way of predicting what the future holds or how the best laid plans may come to nothing, but they often do. The cynic might say they ALWAYS do. And while "always" is pretty all-encompassing, it certainly is true that things almost never work out exactly as you had planned or hoped.

All that is to be done is to accept this fact of life and move on. Keep making plans, setting goals, working hard, doing everything by the book. Yes - you will again be astounded at the curve balls life throws at you, but hopefully you are stronger the second (or third or fourth) time around and can make adjustments along the way more adeptly and arrive a bit closer to where you wanted to be at the beginning.

And I've got to say, having a bit of God in your life will certainly help  get through failures and setbacks. Faith that somehow it all works out for the good is a basic hope of people of faith.

Today - Trust God with the details. Just plan and have vision and work hard and never give up - even when failure looms.
