Pace Yourself

Each of our lives has its own rhythm – its own pace. It is important for us to know what our own rhythm is and then live with it. Making life faster doesn’t make it better, it just makes it more stressful. Pace yourself. Figure out how fast you can go in order to remain unruffled – to take things in stride, and maintain that pace. You may want to expand your endurance and thus your productivity and you can. It is like a jogger. A greater distance over the course of time is really the only way to achieve it. Be patient with yourself. Stretch your pace a bit until it becomes the new rhythm of your life.

Don’t get ahead of yourself – you can’t.
