Steve Jobs died last night. He made a billion dollars, I'm sure, but he was never, apparently, after the money. According to his partner, Steve Wozniak, Jobs wanted, from even his high school years, to "make a dent" in the universe. He says Steve was always talking about how men like Shakespeare and Newton and Edison did exactly that and that he wanted to, too.
I don't know his entire story, but that is enough. It is the desire to do something important and the capturing of a vision of what that might be that makes all the difference in our lives - what makes a "dent" in the universe.
Have dreams - dream big. But be sure those dreams are not self-centered but world or even UNIVERSE centered. Those dreams - desiring to make a difference - are worth at least a billion dollars.
