Faith wouldn't be so difficult if we could simply know if it were true. But that's the beautiful thing about faith. We DON'T know for a fact or beyond a shadow of a doubt. If we did, it wouldn't be faith.Think about human relationships. When someone believes in you before you've earned their trust, it is an honor. They have looked at you and your positive qualities and concluded that you are a good bet.
But what about those people who believe in us before we have shown what we're made of? They "know" we are going to do well - just because... That's faith. And it is a truly wonderful thing to exist.
When you strip away all the mystery and the uncertainty and leave only the unvarnished, naked truth, mathematically and scientifically provable, you've lost something important from life.
There will always be the unknown. There will always be the unprovable. It's called faith and it makes life an adventure.
